How to make Creative Spaces in 5 Minutes

I created this in about 5 minutes and I have very little coding skill. It searches all nine National Museums that are involved in Creative Space. (Requires Javascript)

 

Now, save each interesting link in your browser bookmarks or delicious.com and give it tags. Sign up to Google Notebook or Zoho to make/share notes. Join Facebook/Flickr/Twitter for social interaction with similar minded people.

    Does the same thing. All that’s missing is some style. That’s where my coding ability (and time) stops.

    Your version is pretty damn open and free the way, so why not? Basically it comes down to data layer/art objects being separate and available. Then roll your own social layer with an  interface of your choosing.

    Not sure you could entirely claim that this replaced Creative Spaces, but the point is well made. I built the same a long while ago – see http://www.museumcollections.org.uk/ This searches 39 museum collections sites, from what I remember..
